Last night was the final session of the cardigan sweater class that I have been teaching since the middle of April. Some students were finished with their sweater and some were nearly finished but all left with new confidence and new knitting skills. It was a fun class with wonderfully friendly and interactive knitters and I am proud of every one of them. But I think I am experiencing empty nest syndrome! What am I going to do now?
I'm thinking that I should take advantage of this break in my teaching schedule and turn my focus back to getting some new sock designs down on paper. I have a lot of fun playing with different stitch patterns when I'm knitting socks and it's fun to be able to share the results with fellow sock knitters.
Would a pattern for this sock entice anyone?
And just because I don't have a lot of photo content for this post, I'll leave you with a view from my deck as I sip the last of my late afternoon coffee.
I'm sorry I couldn't take the class, I purchased the pattern and the yarn, have a swatch started but that's all so far. Do you have any student & project pictures from the class, are you considering doing another sweater class this fall?
