Saturday at the KY Sheep & Fiber Festival

Don 't do it, Steph!!  Step away from that yarn.

And there was a lot of yarn to be seen.
A very nice festival and a beautiful day.

We ended the day by watching some of the stock dog trials.

Woodford Distillery

Limited Access

I've been trying to post pictures but it is nearly impossible with the unreliable internet connection we have here in Elkhorn. We're having a wonderful time and I'll keep trying to share what I can, when I can.

New Location

We've moved north for a few days.  This campground is a bit tigher than some but otherwise it's a very neat and tidy place on the Elkhorn Creek.

We'll be seeing some of the sights in the Lexington/Frankfort area today, then off to the fiber festival tomorrow.

The Journey Begins

This is where we landed at the end of our first day,

a beautiful State Park in Ohio that we had nearly to ourselves.

The adventure boys have a mascot this trip!
Steph and I have been doing lots of knitting and napping as we roll along.  And Artie is being content just being with his family and living the RV life.

Tonight we're at our first stop in Kentucky and plan to see some local sights tomorrow.

A Day at the Beach ..........

Not just any beach, but Bow Wow Beach.

We needed to take the RV to Streetsboro, OH for maintenance in preparation for our spring trip to Kentucky.  But what could we do for a few hours while the rig was in the shop?  Fortunately, we have a friend that lives in the area and he suggested a trip to Bow Wow Beach

I couldn't think of a better way to spend a beautiful, spring day.  Dogs and sunshine.

Artie, being the mellow, senior citizen, chose to stay pretty close to us most of the time.  Bet he did wander a bit and made some new doggie friends.  And one little guy was quite fascinated with his tail.

Everybody had fun at this beautiful park.  What a joy it was to spend the afternoon with all the well behaved dogs and their watchful owners.
